Braid & Ribbon Headband

We saw something like this on another hair site I think it was "the story of the princess and her hair" and thought maybe we could try it. I think it turned out really cute.

Pre-Halloween Practice

This is a pre-Halloween practice. She's trying to figure out the hair for her princess costume. I think she just wanted to wear the tiara to church.

Baby Bun

This is a little mini version of Meggan's Tinker bell. Hi pony, lots of ratting.

Meggan's Tinker Bell

This starts with a high pony and then you rat it, rat it, and rat it some more. Tuck the ends in with bobby pins. The head band and flower were her own addition.

The girls did mom's hair.

Do you remember these little plastic barrets. I remember them from when I was a little girl and we have a small container of them. So I got the royal treatment and got to wear everyone we own.

Mom got a new toy

Okay I may be the last girl on the block to get a straightener but that doesn't mean I'm not excited to be trying it out. MaKady passed out the first time we used it on her head. I think it was the fear of moving and she locked her knees. So from now on we sit to do her hair. I'm looking for new styles that use the tool. Any suggestions are welcome.

Lot's of Braid's

This is another one from one of the hair blog's we keep up on. It is a pony with lots of braids and then pinned back up over the elastic with the ends finished. Now isn't that a mouth full. The next time I do this one I will leave the ends of the braids longer so there is more to curl on the top.

Mulan Hair

I bought these hair sticks at Claire's on a 10 items for $5 and they have sat in a drawer until I saw on another hair blog we follow, just how to use them. I think it turned out pretty cute and it was pretty easy.

Braids to a pony-tail

We braided the sides and then pulled them back to a pony tail. Then finished it with a flower or a messy bun.

Heidi

I think I read somewhere this was channeling Heidi. It is two ponies, braided and then turned into loops. Really fun way to keep it up and back her two favorite ways to have her hair.

Puffy Braids on the Babe

This is how we braid the baby's hair!!

Upside Down Braids

She wanted really high ponies and the only way we can get the baby hair to stay up that high is to braid it in. So she laid on the ottman and flipped her hair upside down and we braided it. So Cute!!!

Knots

We took two small squares of hair on each side of her part and tied them in knots but didn't pull them tight and then secured them in a low pony tail. I think it turned out really cute.

Spiral Curls

She wanted her entire head curled and I didn't have time so we did spiral curls all around the top and she was happy!

The Star fish

One big pony tail, 5 sections, braid each of them and tuck the ends back in to the main elastic and fluff the ends.

Puffy braids

This is meg's hair. We did braids with pony tails. She thought it was great.

Little Pony's all the way around

We did 5 pony tails across the front and 3 in the back underneath and then pulled the rest and the tails into one big pony tail. Her hair is getting so long and it is still pretty warm that she wants it up most days.

Infamous 80's side pony

This is a flash back from when I was younger. We just updated it with a flower. All my girls love the side pony.

"Stinkin" Cute

Our babysitter Jess did Grace's hair and she said it was "stinkin" cute so she took a picture.

Puffy Braids

This is a quick way for her to feel like I braided her hair.
